Some wood products, like butcher-block tabletops and cutting boards, are specified with a natural oil finish. To ensure proper care and depending on use, this type of finish should be reapplied every three to six months. We recommend John Boos & Co. Mystery Oil or any NSF or FDA approved food grade mineral oil. Follow the manufacturers directions for product application and disposal.
